Password Generator
Create strong, random passwords in your browser. Cryptographically secure, instantly generated, never transmitted.
Why strong passwords matter for hosting
Most compromised hosting accounts don't fall to clever hacks — they fall to reused passwords. Your cPanel, FTP, database and email accounts all sit behind credentials, and an attacker only needs one weak or reused one to gain full control of your site. A unique, 16+ character random password per service closes that door.
This generator uses your browser's built-in cryptographically secure random number generator with rejection sampling, so every character is equally likely and nothing is predictable. The password is created and stays entirely on your device — there is no network request carrying it, no logging, no storage. Generate, copy, and paste it straight into your password manager.
How long should a password be?
For cPanel and email accounts we recommend at least 16 characters; for database users and FTP, 20 or more. Entropy grows with length faster than with symbol complexity — a 24-character password using only letters and digits is stronger than an 8-character one with every symbol type. If you'd rather not memorise anything, generate long passwords and store them in a password manager, then protect the manager with one master passphrase you only use there.
