Setting up email in cPanel

Create the mailbox

Log in to cPanel from your welcome email.
Open Email Accounts and choose Create.
Set a username (the part before @), a strong password, and a quota.
Open Webmail to send your first message.

Connect a phone or Outlook

Use IMAP, not POP, unless you have a reason to download mail off the server.

Incoming: mail.yourdomain.com, SSL, port 993
Outgoing SMTP: mail.yourdomain.com, SSL, port 465
Username: the full address (you@yourdomain.com)

MX records must point at our mail servers (default when the domain uses our nameservers). After that, add SPF/DKIM — see SPF and DKIM for business email.
