Install from Softaculous
- In cPanel open Softaculous Apps Installer and choose WordPress.
- Set the domain (and directory — leave blank for the site root).
- Choose a unique admin username and a strong password. Avoid “admin”.
- Install. You will get wp-admin login details by email.
First-run checklist
- Confirm AutoSSL has issued HTTPS, then force HTTPS in WordPress or cPanel.
- Install a LiteSpeed-compatible cache plugin (LiteSpeed Cache) — see Enable LiteSpeed Cache.
- Keep WordPress, themes and plugins updated. Remove unused plugins.
- Set a daily backup habit before you change themes or run migrations.
Managed WordPress plans already include LiteSpeed, staging and free SSL. Compare them on the WordPress hosting page.
