What is Uptime & SLA?
The percentage of time your site is reachable — and the service-level agreement that backs the promise.
Uptime measures how often your website is actually reachable, expressed as a percentage: 99.9% uptime means less than about 45 minutes of downtime a month. An SLA (service level agreement) is the written promise behind the number, usually with credits when the host misses it. Beware of bare '99.9% uptime' claims with no published status page or SLA behind them — our own live status page and SLA show real numbers you can hold us to.
