Ready to put these tips into action?
Browse our hosting plans and have your site live in under 60 seconds. Plans start at just ₦1,000/month.
Use our free migration wizard or open a support ticket. Tell us your current host and domain — we'll review and confirm within 1 business hour.
Step 2: We copy your site
Our team logs into your current host and creates a full backup of your files, databases, and emails. We transfer this to your new Danets Server account.
Zero downtime: Your current site stays live throughout. We're copying, not moving.
Step 3: We configure the new environment
On your new Danets Server account, we:
Restore your files and databases
Recreate your email accounts
Provision a free SSL certificate
Configure DNS records
Test everything on a temporary URL
Step 4: You review
We send you a temporary URL to preview your site on our servers. You verify everything looks and works correctly. We fix any issues.
Step 5: We switch the DNS
Once you approve, we update your domain's nameservers to point to Danets Server. This is the only moment of "change" — and it's seamless.
DNS propagation: Usually 1-4 hours globally. Your site stays accessible throughout (either from the old or new server).
Step 6: We monitor
For 7 days after migration, we proactively monitor your site for any issues. If something breaks, we fix it — free.
How long does it take?
Simple sites (static, small WordPress): 2-4 hours
Medium sites (WooCommerce, membership): 4-8 hours
Complex sites (multi-site, custom apps): 1-2 days
Email migration: adds 2-4 hours
Most migrations complete within 24 hours.
