cPanel is the control panel for your hosting account — it's where you manage files, emails, databases, domains, and security. If you're new to it, the interface can feel overwhelming. This guide covers the 10 features you'll use most.
1. File Manager
The File Manager is your web-based file browser. Use it to upload, edit, and delete files without FTP.
Key directory:public_html — this is where your website files live. Anything in this folder is publicly accessible at your domain.
Pro tip: Right-click any file → "Edit" to edit code directly in the browser. Great for quick .htaccess changes.
2. Email Accounts
Create professional email addresses on your domain (e.g., you@yourdomain.com).
Go to Email → Email Accounts
Click Create
Enter the address (e.g., "info") and a strong password
Set a mailbox quota (or unlimited)
Click Create
Access your email at https://yourdomain.com/webmail or configure it in Outlook/Gmail/Apple Mail.
3. One-Click WordPress Install
